AlpenRetreat opens a space for guests to enjoy kind and earnest hospitality in a restful, inspiring environment.

We work closely with renowned teachers from around the world to offer a wide range of full-service meditation, yoga, nature-centric, and outdoor sports holidays year-round.

Our heartfelt desire is to help create beautiful, memorable experiences designed to nurture body, mind and spirit.

We take great pleasure in perfectly blending activity, nourishing organic foods, and gentle relaxation to foster rejuvenation.  AlpenRetreat is above all a welcoming sanctuary where authenticity, healing, and growth are graciously valued.

Retreats

Retreats are the heart of what we do. We take special care in inviting well-respected teachers.  We truly enjoy creating opportunities for guests to indulge in expansion.

Food

We place special emphasis on nutrition, as a vital aspect of holistic healthy living.  We closely work together with regional and organic farms, and also grow our own fruit, vegetables and herbs.  As with our outdoor activities (e.g. skiing in the winter and mountaineering in the summer), our menus vary as the seasons change.

AlpenRetreat’s Premises

While the undeniable highlight of the 5-acre property is the stunning natural beauty and peace of the area, we also showcase the perfect complement: a charming, historic, newly-renovated ten bedroom Retreat Center.

Features of the well-located premises include:

  • Though peaceful and remote, it is within 1 hour’s drive of three airports with major budget-airline connections to/from UK, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Sweden, Portugal and Belgium
  • 45min drive from the German border, 1 ½ hr from the Italian border and 1 hr from the Swiss border
  • Mountain biking, rafting, hiking, canyoning, bungee jumping, skiing, snowboarding and rock climbing are among many world-class outdoor activities in the stunning natural surrounds
  • Tasteful decoration with the warmth and appeal of home
  • A large, beautiful, sun-flooded yoga studio/seminar room with views of the Alps
  • Two Winter Olympic Games have been hosted in the vicinity, indicative of the beauty of this area

We warmly invite you to join us here in the majestic Tyrolean Alps.  It would be our great pleasure to serve you.
